Can you buy Ruby Rings?
I would like to get my hands on a ruby ring but not one in the traditional sense. I would like one that is 100% ruby in the shape of a band that fits my finger. Does anybody know if such rings are commercially available or even a jeweler that could make such a ring. Also any guesses at the cost of the ring.
It would take a very large ruby to be made into a ring like that. So large that it would cost a fortune ($40,000 or more) to get a quality ruby of that size just to hack the stone into a band.
I think you should probably look into some type of resin or non-precious gem if you're wanting that look.
